ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-The plane crash at San Francisco International Airport is causing many flight cancellations across the country and the world. United flight 1502 was scheduled to leave Lambert Airport for the city by the bay at 7:00am Sunday. It never took off.

The NTSB continues to investigate the crash of Asiana flight 214, search for clues why this otherwise normal landing went so wrong. The San Francisco Airport, which shut down Saturday after the crash, will reopen slowly Sunday.

Following the crash, flights were diverted to Los Angeles, Seattle, Oakland and San Jose. Some flights bound for San Francisco on Sunday are being flown to nearby San Jose.

There is so much traffic on the San Francisco airport’s website (www.flysfo.com/) that it is inaccessible. If you have questions your flight, please contact your airline directly or call the San Francisco airport at 1-800-435-9736.
