EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) — East St. Louis police ended the Fourth of July holiday with a murder investigation. Police would not say much at first. But, the scene left little to the imagination.
Homicide detectives rushed to North 11th Street and State Streets just after 11:30 Thursday night. You could see shell casings in the street in front of a house.
Police would not say anything about the victim. They did not release a suspect description to the media. But again, we do know that homicide investigators were searching around the house. And, the suspect or suspects were able to get away before police arrived.
